By way of Ukraine. The blades show some mileage and do not retract open while wearing (safety first) but will open manually. It is still in working condition, but I wouldn't recommend putting it to too much work, as the knife is in its 50s and looking forward to retirement.
Due to the age and previous wear of the piece, a small portion of the blade sits unevenly. However, the springs are still strong, tightly drawn, keeping them safely in place. Nothing to take away from the overall beauty and strength of the piece.
