Once I found the pendant, I already saw the finished piece in my head. This Prince inspired build took some time to create. I had limited materials to work with at the time, so I had to get creative in figuring out a way to attach the pendant to the necklace, trying to get it as close as possible to the image in my mind. I turned it into a competition against myself to see if I could successfully figure out a way to make it work with what I had on hand. After a substantial number rage inducing, profanity laced, OCD locked, and self-conquest driven re-workings, the pieces finally started to come together.
I meticulously searched for the RIGHT hue of purple and quality. After running across Purple Tigers Eye, it just seemed the obvious choice for this build.
The rich purple coupled with the gilded brass, paired together really beautifully. The pendant is double sided and necklace orientation is dealer’s choice.
